I have a Float house in Southeast Alaska that needs replacement logs . I was thinking of buying plastic logs and foam filling them ? Right now have two sixty foot logs and then filled with strafoam blocks in the middle . My logs are eleven years old and are shot salt water is not good for wood. Any suggestions . I have pictures of my float house on my web page.

I really enjoyed this article on twitter. I'm trying to get into social media marketing myself at the moment. I found your website because my nickname among my peer is marketing goon! I did a search and you came up.

Are you planning on anymore twitter articles? I'd like to read some more of you thoughts.

Interesting to see that you have a different way of creating a log float. We use cedar exclusively up here on our lake. What you call stringers is what we call pony walls, but we don't notch the logs. You can see some of our construction pictures on my blog if you are interested.

Our good friend John built our cabin from the float up. He is in the process of building a new cabin right now and it was very interesting to watch him lash the logs together with steel cables. It was just like sewing on a massive scale.

Scott,

Great post. My company has a big Marketing Summit for our CMPMs, (Channel Marketing Program Managers), AKA Sales, coming up at the end of this month and your presentation is right on. The biggest challenge we have is giving them enough confidence to close the deal. With Attensa's tools it seems they would know more about the prospect than they do themselves. Bam! Confidence. Great presentation. Love Camp Kumbaya!

Thanks,
Lori Robinson
